Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist
Job Overview
We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented professionals to join our RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) team as AR Specialist. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, good command of English (spoken & written), and prior experience in Mental Health specialty billing.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end medical billing processes.
Handle Accounts Receivable (AR), follow up with insurance companies and patients.
Resolve claim rejections/denials and ensure timely resubmission.
Maintain accurate patient and billing records.
Generate patient statements and respond to billing inquiries.
Ensure compliance with payer rules, HIPAA and company policies.
Requirements
Experience: 2+ years (A/R experience)
Minimum Bachelor’s degree (BS) in a relevant field.
Prior experience in Mental Health specialty billing preferred.
Proficiency with EHR – Tebra is a strong advantage.
Strong English communication skills (spoken & written).
Experience in Patient and Insurance Calling. Maintain a professional and empathetic tone in patient interactions.
